We are proud to announce that students from our Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering have achieved significant success within the scope of the TUSAŞ LiftUp Industry-Oriented Undergraduate Thesis Program, one of the most prestigious platforms for industry-academia collaboration in the defense sector.
Our senior students Elif Önsoy, Ahmet Melih Yavuz and Yasemin Erciyas, have had their project officially accepted after a rigorous evaluation process.
The project, titled "Multi-Purpose Shooting and Bouncing Ray (SBR) Tracking Algorithm Supporting Radar Cross Section (RCS) Analysis," focuses on critical areas of modern radar systems and stealth technologies. The algorithm aims to simulate electromagnetic wave propagation to calculate the radar signatures of complex objects more effectively and accurately.
The project will be carried out under the academic supervision of Prof. Dr. Erdem Yazgan, a distinguished figure in the field of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Developed under his guidance, this algorithm once again demonstrates our department's commitment to research, development, and the advancement of indigenous technology.
"As the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, our primary goal is to ensure our students reach the competence to work side-by-side with industry leaders. We wholeheartedly congratulate our students and their advisor for this outstanding achievement."
