Our Defense Industry Project Selected for TUSAŞ LIFT UP Program!

We are proud to announce that our senior design project has been accepted into the LIFT UP Industry-Oriented Undergraduate Graduation Projects Program, organized by Turkish Aerospace Industries (TUSAŞ).
Under the academic supervision of Dr. Aykut Yıldız from the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, our team—consisting of Mustafa Yusuf Ünal, Ayça Naz Dedeoğlu, and Onur Mesci—is developing a high-impact solution for the defense sector.
The project, titled “Target Detection, Classification, and Neutralization via Image Processing for Helicopters and UAVs,” focuses on enhancing the autonomous capabilities of aerial platforms through advanced computer vision techniques.
In addition to the financial and technical support provided by TUSAŞ within the scope of the program, our project is also officially sponsored by Ayyazılım. We are honored to receive the backing of two significant players in the technology and defense industry as we work toward contributing to our nation’s local and national technology initiatives.
