The TÜBİTAK 1001 project titled "Development of a Strained Germanium Light Source Compatible with CMOS Technology" by our faculty member Çiçek Boztuğ Yerci has been successfully completed. Within the scope of the project, strained germanium microstructures, which will enable the development of an infrared laser integrated on silicon, were fabricated using a cost-effective and effortless fabrication process. We congratulate our faculty member for her contributions to the field of silicon photonics and wish her continued success.
